Most valuable cards

Ranked by ungraded price, the value of a raw copy as pulled from a pack, with the PSA 10 value and how often PSA 10 copies sell. Prices come from recent sold listings; where a grade has no sales, the figure is an estimate. All values as of October 17, 2026.

  • Two cards stand apart. Of the single cards in the set, only the two Mega Greninja ex secret rares were above $100 ungraded; the next card, Cinccino ex, was at $39.41.
  • The PSA 10 order is different. By PSA 10 value the top three are the same, but Cobalion ex #103 (an Ultra Rare at $2.69 ungraded) comes fourth at $122.11, on about one sale a month with the newest listed in September 2026, so that figure rests on few sales. The four Illustration Rares shown sold for about $5–6 raw and $66–83 in a PSA 10; the other seven were at $4.00 or less ungraded.
  • What is left out. Sealed products and stamped or store-exclusive versions such as Ho-Oh [GameStop] #10 are not ranked here.
  • Graded vs raw. Whether a PSA 10 price is worth chasing depends on the odds of getting one and on the fees; Is it worth grading? works through the method and PSA 9 vs PSA 10 covers what separates the two grades.

Pull rates

No official pull rates were found for Chaos Rising. The figures below are estimates from published pack openings: they are per pack, not guarantees, and the sample sizes differ by more than a hundredfold.

TCGplayer also gives per-card odds, assuming every card of a rarity is equally common: about 1 in 103 packs for a specific Illustration Rare, 1 in 217 for a specific Ultra Rare and 1 in 496 for a specific Special Illustration Rare such as Mega Greninja ex #116. For the single Mega Hyper Rare it puts the average at about 1,000 packs. It adds that the Mega Hyper Rare looked easier to find than in Perfect Order and Phantasmal Flames, but that the difference is not statistically significant. Its Double Rare rate was 20.30% ± 0.85%, about 1 in 5 packs.

Where the estimates disagree

  • Special Illustration Rares. TCGplayer's 1 in 83 packs is the only figure from a large sample. TCGTalk found 2 in 268 packs across two openings and ComicBook.com none in 55; with so few hits, the small openings cannot pin the rate down.
  • Ultra Rares. TCGplayer has 1 in 12 packs, ComicBook.com's 55 packs gave just below 1 in 7, and TCGTalk's categories add up to 7.8% of packs.
  • Illustration Rares agree. All three land at about 1 in 9 packs.

Checklist before you rely on a number here

  • ☐ The price has a date: everything above is as of October 17, 2026, and prices move daily.
  • ☐ You are comparing like with like: ungraded with ungraded, PSA 10 with PSA 10, and the right card number (three different Mega Greninja ex cards appear above).
  • ☐ The PSA 10 price rests on regular sales (check the volume column).
  • ☐ Pull rates are averages over many packs; a single box can land well above or below them.
  • ☐ Before grading, check the card against the modern pre-grading checklist.
