Eevee and Eeveelution Pokémon cards

The Eevee, Umbreon, Espeon, Sylveon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Leafeon and Glaceon cards collectors look for, what kind of card each one is, and what the most valuable ones sold for raw and in PSA 10.

Eevee has eight evolutions: Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon and Sylveon. The Pokémon Company International built a full expansion around them: Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions, released January 17, 2025, features “Eevee and its eight Evolutions” as Stellar Tera Pokémon ex. This page lists the notable English cards of all nine with set, number, rarity, artist and release date as recorded in the Pokémon TCG API, sorts out the Gold Star, alternate art and Special Illustration Rare cards, and ranks the most valuable by PriceCharting's prices as of October 28, 2026. Ungraded and PSA 10 prices sit in separate columns and are never mixed in one ranking. This is a reference, not buying or investment advice.

The top card of each Eeveelution

For anyone looking up one Eeveelution, the diagram and the list give the most valuable English card of each of the nine, by PriceCharting's ungraded price. Stamped staff, prerelease and Prize Pack versions, Japanese cards and sealed products are left out.

Notable Eevee and Eeveelution cards at a glance

The table runs in release order. It is a selection, not a complete list: the API has 88 cards whose name contains Eevee and between 33 and 46 for each evolution, counting promos and TAG TEAM cards. The rows below are the cards that appear in the value tables or stand for a rarity type. Rarity is the label the API uses. The API records no artist for the Prismatic Evolutions cards.

Gold Stars, alternate arts and Special Illustration Rares

Most searches for an “Umbreon alt art”, “gold star Umbreon” or “Sylveon full art” lead to a handful of card types. The table sorts the Eevee family by them. A card can belong to more than one group.

  • Moonbreon. Rare Candy lists Umbreon VMAX 215/203 first among the Evolving Skies chase cards, as an Alternate Art Secret Rare, and notes that fans call it Moonbreon. Its list also names the Sylveon, Leafeon and Glaceon VMAX and the Umbreon, Espeon and Sylveon V alternate arts in the table.
  • Leafeon V and Glaceon V. Rare Candy's FAQ also counts Glaceon and Leafeon V alternate arts without giving numbers. In the API the two Rare Ultra Glaceon V cards are #174 (5ban Graphics) and #175 (Narumi Sato), and the two Leafeon V cards #166 (5ban Graphics) and #167 (You Iribi). PriceCharting had #175 at $139.00 and #167 at $117.77 ungraded.
  • Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon. Rare Candy names VMAX alternate arts only for Umbreon, Sylveon, Glaceon and Leafeon. In the API, the Evolving Skies VMAX cards of the other three (#30, #51 and #18) are Rare Holo VMAX and their full-art V cards (#172, #177 and #169) Rare Ultra, all credited to 5ban Graphics.
  • Gold Stars. The API lists 25 Rare Holo Star cards plus the two POP Series 5 stars; five of those 27 are Eeveelutions. The 2021 Celebrations Classic Collection reprinted Umbreon ★ (API number 17 of its 25 cards); PriceCharting had the reprint at $75.59 ungraded, far below the original.

Most valuable Eevee and Eeveelution cards

The ranking uses PriceCharting's ungraded price for English singles, read on the card pages on October 28, 2026. Edition variants such as 1st Edition and reverse holo count as separate cards because PriceCharting prices them separately. Japanese cards, sealed products, stamped staff, prerelease and Prize Pack versions and World Championships deck cards are left out. The PSA 10 column is for comparison only, with PriceCharting's estimate of how often a PSA 10 copy sells.

  • Umbreon dominates. Six of the twelve are Umbreon cards, and the two POP Series 5 Gold Stars are far ahead of the rest ungraded: $6,736.21 for Umbreon ★ and $5,525.34 for Espeon ★, against $1,865.14 for the next card.
  • The PSA 10 order is different. By PSA 10 price, Umbreon ★ leads at $477,050.00, followed by the Skyridge Umbreon H30 ($108,393.57), the Aquapolis Umbreon H29 ($101,574.21), the 1st Edition Neo Discovery Umbreon ($79,930.36) and Espeon ★ ($63,841.06).
  • Thin markets. The vintage PSA 10 figures rest on about one sale a month down to two a year, so a single sale can move them. The three modern cards in the table trade far more often, one to three PSA 10 sales a day.
  • Just below the twelve. Espeon ex #102 from Unseen Forces (2005) was at $530.97 ungraded and $22,275.06 in PSA 10.

In PSA 10 the modern order shifts: Umbreon ex #161 ($4,250.00) and Gardevoir & Sylveon-GX ($3,700.00) are above Moonbreon ($3,550.00), and Eevee & Snorlax-GX ($1,387.50) and Sylveon ex #156 ($1,077.64) pass every Evolving Skies card except Moonbreon. A PSA 10 price says what a 10 sells for, not what a raw copy will grade; the arithmetic is on is it worth grading?, and the gaps between grades on PSA 9 vs PSA 10.

Questions collectors ask

What is the most expensive Umbreon card?

By PriceCharting's summaries as of October 28, 2026, Umbreon ★ #17 from POP Series 5: $6,736.21 ungraded and $477,050.00 in PSA 10. The most valuable modern Umbreon ungraded is Umbreon VMAX 215/203 ($1,865.14), but in PSA 10 the Prismatic Evolutions Umbreon ex 161/131 is higher, $4,250.00 against $3,550.00.

What is Moonbreon?

The nickname for Umbreon VMAX 215/203, the Evolving Skies alternate art, credited in the API to KEIICHIRO ITO. Check the number: the other Rare Rainbow Umbreon VMAX in the set, #214 by AKIRA EGAWA, is a different card.

Which Eeveelutions have Gold Star cards?

Five: Flareon, Jolteon and Vaporeon in Power Keepers (February 2007) and Espeon and Umbreon in POP Series 5 (March 2007), all credited to Masakazu Fukuda in the API. Leafeon, Glaceon, Sylveon and Eevee have none among the API's Gold Star cards.

What is the best Sylveon or Espeon full art?

“Best” is a matter of taste; by ungraded price on October 28, 2026, the top Sylveon cards were Gardevoir & Sylveon-GX 205/214 ($675.00), Sylveon ex 156/131 ($346.81) and the Sylveon VMAX alternate art 212/203 ($317.48). For Espeon, the modern leaders were Espeon VMAX 270/264 ($284.67), Espeon ex 155/131 ($222.50) and the Espeon V alternate art 180/203 ($191.50).

How do I find out what my Eeveelution card is worth?

Match the exact card first: set symbol, number, edition stamp and any special version (reverse holo, Poké Ball or Master Ball pattern, Prize Pack stamp, Classic Collection reprint). Then compare sold prices for the same card in the same condition, raw with raw and graded with graded. The method is in where to check sold prices.

Checklist before you compare Eeveelution prices

  • ☐ The number matches: Umbreon VMAX 214/203 and 215/203 are different cards, and so are Umbreon ex 060/131 and 161/131.
  • ☐ The version matches: 1st Edition, reverse holo, Poké Ball and Master Ball patterns and Prize Pack stamps are priced separately.
  • ☐ A reprint is not mistaken for the original: the 2021 Celebrations Classic Collection Umbreon ★ is a separate, much cheaper card.
  • ☐ Raw is compared with raw and PSA 10 with PSA 10, and each price has an “as of” date.
  • ☐ The sales volume is checked; a PSA 10 figure that rests on a few sales a year is a weak guide.
  • ☐ A slab's cert number checks out (verify a cert number).
